A Shift Lead is responsible for the overall shift operations, sales performance and execution of brand excellence in a store in the absence of Assistant General Manager and/or General Manager. Shift leads typically supervise a staff of 1 to 8 team members and carry out management responsibilities consistent with Jamba Juice policies, procedures and legal requirements. They lead the team with making smoothies, juices, bowls, and quick food items. Guest service is a high priority in this role - we have the pleasure of meeting and serving our great community here in Marin. We have a fast paced, fun work environment!

Additional Requirements::

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent Certification
• Current or recent food/retail service experience
• Able to work minimum 20-25 hours per week, including nights and weekends
• Computer skills including some Microsoft software and register skills
• Able to lift 30-40 pounds regularly throughout a four to eight hour shift
• Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F
• Ability to embody Jamba culture & values – will make a good representative to the Jamba Brand (i.e. energy, fun, self-starter)

**Non slip shoes and CA food handler card required.

Essential Responsibilities and Skills::

• Lead and manage shifts while acting as manager in charge of store. Deploy team members as required to meet business demands and make necessary staffing decisions.
• Communicate clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective shift operations.
• Work the line. Perform all tasks related to Jamba operational standards. Be able to effectively work and act as a role model at each station in the store.
• Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered on every shift.
• Follow all food safety, cash handling and operations procedures and policies.
• Ensure proper financial accountability during each shift.
• Delegation. Clearly and comfortably delegates both routine and important tasks and decision.
• Create an environment in which Team Members are motivated to do their best.
