This is a unique opportunity to join a new Marco’s Pizza location and be part of a grand opening! Shift Leaders supervise the entire crew and all workstations in the day to day operations of a pizza store on either day or night shifts. Responsibilities include ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and customer service, as well as adhering to all procedures and policies and making sure the entire crew does also. Product, Service, and Image fall under the Shift Leader, the cornerstones of Marco’s. With great opportunities for advancement with the fastest growing pizza company in the country, Marco’s hires many of its Assistant Managers from the Shift Leader ranks.
- Leads Crew Members and directs shift operations of the restaurant in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant manager including leading and training employees, opening and closing the store, ensuring all food preparation is complete, managing employee breaks and shift changes.
- General kitchen operations and back office tasks; Opening & Closing the store, Food Prep in the morning, stocking & rotating, maintaining cleanliness & cleaning at close, monitoring service reports, running closing computer tasks, etc.
- Motivates and coaches Crew Members and assists in the training of new Crew Members.
- Assist Customers over the phones & over the counter.
- Operates all machinery in accordance with Marco’s safety requirements and all applicable state and federal laws (by law, employees under the age of 18 cannot operate or clean certain machinery).
- Follows Marco’s procedures for preparing dough, sauce, and toppings, and correctly making all Marco’s products.
- Excels in preforming all Crew Member tasks including: makeline, cut table, monitoring the ovens, packaging of products, quality check and order accuracy, and guest relations.
- Maintains cleanliness of the store.
- Recognizes and reacts to inferior products from the supplier.
- Works with Drivers and Manager to ensure efficient routing of deliveries.
- Maintains fast, accurate, and outstanding service, ensures an excellent Guest experience, and makes sure all products are consistent with company standards.
- Completes all other duties as assigned.
- Must be available for some Night & Weekend shifts.
- Must have attention for detail & food quality.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with team oriented work.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
