Minot Milling, a division of Philadelphia Macaroni Company, has immediate openings for Shift Miller at our mill in Minot, North Dakota.

Job Summary for Shift Miller:

This position will be responsible for communicating with their department manager on a regular basis. Must be able to work at heights above 10 feet and capable to move or lift heavy objects. Be able to operate precision test equipment. Monitor milling equipment and make necessary adjustments to obtain optimum production and quality. Be able to work in a dusty environment and a good mechanical ability. Must be available for overtime and weekends.

Position requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a Mill or food manufacturing (in a factory setting) environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate, read and write in English in order to understand and follow work, GMP, procedures and safety instructions.
• Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fraction, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Regular scheduled shifts are Monday-Friday but you must be able to work any day and/or shift including weekends and holidays when required due to business needs.
• Must have physical ability and strength to perform assigned tasks.
• Required to lift and/or carry up to 55 pounds
• While performing the duties of these jobs, employees are regularly required to stand, talk, hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel, push / pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms 2/3’s of the time.
• Must be able to work at heights above 10 feet.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes
• Ability to work in production environment that is high in dust, noise, heat, and humidity
• Must be able to work well independently and as part of the team
