The role:
The Shift Supervisor will be responsible of the daily coordination of Terminal Operations and the compliance of the routine and non-routine activities designated to the Shift Operations Technicians. This role will include to perform the tasks and required training to all personnel recently assigned. Also, will conduct all the responsibilities associated to the Supervision of the site and the interaction with site leadership to manage and ensure all the process are properly executed as expected. This role will require physical demands such as moving around, lifting equipment, and standing for prolonged periods.
What you will do:
- Supervise, monitor, inspect and control all the associated requirements at the Regassification process and Truck Loading Operations.
- Ensure proper control of all assets related to the regasification process and the safe receipt of Liquified Natural Gas.
- Observe the transportation and storage of LNG and other flammable related materials to ensure that all applicable safety procedures are followed.
- Work with the Floating Storage Unit (FSU) Operational coordination to ensure correct send out volumes, operational parameters and any other relevant consideration is observed.
- Administer the applicable Operations personnel to ensure all works are properly conducted. This include the preparation of the Shift Schedule to ensure proper resources are always available.
- Responsible of the training program and development of all employees.
- Conduct daily site inspections and prepare applicable reports of equipment and operations.
- Supervise the daily performance of routine activities of the employees on site.
- Understand how to Operate the Regassification Equipment used in the daily operations at the Site as well as the Truck Loading Rack System.
- Reduce the potential safety risks for the employees and ensure proper mitigation strategies.
- Program and ensure of all assets at the Site are maintained and update all applicable certifications required for the site as needed.
- Develop, update and ensure that all applicable Standard Operating Procedures "SOP" are followed.
- Coordinate assistance of all employees to training as required.
- Report and ensure all safety observations are properly managed to achieve its closure on time.
- Develop applicable Key Performance Indicators "KPI" to reflect and monitor the Regas Availability and Reliability as expected targets.
- Conduct management activities associated to Payroll, PTO and performance of the employees.
- Participate in all necessary HSEQ audits conducted at the site. As well as all HSEQ requirements applicable to the Terminal Operations.
- Ensure all applicable Permit to Works and coordination of any maintenance activities are carried out properly.
- Other responsibilities as directed by the company.
What you bring:
- Minimum of 5+ years similar experience in a process plant or like facility.
- Bachelor Degree in Sciences or a combination of Education and Experience in a process plant environment.
- Experience in distribution of processing gas for utility companies or industrial plants, using panel boards, control boards, and semi-automatic equipment.
- Must have good communication skills and technical language skills.
- Familiar with control room environments and industrial control systems.
- Knowledgeable of HSSE management systems and the corresponding safe practices and procedures to be imprinted on all operational activities.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
