Position: 1st Class Shipfitter
Job Location: Pascagoula, MS

Rate of Pay: up to $23 per hour depending on experience and interview/test

Description: Lays out and fabricates metal structural parts, such as plates, bulkheads, and frames, and braces them in position within hull of ship for welding.

Requirements:

· Minimum 5 years of experience as 1st class shipfitter

· Outfitting experience

· Must know Ship terminology

· Must read blue prints to lay out and fabricate parts for ships

· Must be able to burn and bevel with hand torch

· Must pass fillet weld test using 7018 rods

· Must pass drug test and E-Verify

· Must be able to work all shifts
