SHIFT: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3pm
STARTING WAGE: $18 - $20/Hour DOE | Full wage range: $18.00 - $24.50/Hour DOE
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for accurate picking of finished product or additional product. Stages and rotates finished product, organizes inventory, and cleans the warehouse. Responsible for the receiving, unloading and labeling of green coffee and other materials and supplies.
ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Ships or receives all incoming and outgoing freight.
- Responsible for monitoring inventory flow to minimize inventory variances and maintain First In First Out procedures.
- Picks orders from inventory.
- Tags and verifies materials and places in warehouse racking.
- Assists in maintaining an accurate inventory through use of a computerized inventory system.
- Cleans staging area of plant & loading dock and performs general warehouse housekeeping.
- Responsible for the unloading and stacking of green coffee.
- Upholds and provides safe, high-quality, consistent products, and superior services that anticipate, meet or exceed the requirements of our customers.
- Complies with General Safety Communication Program.
- Performs any other duties/tasks that may be assigned to him/her on an as needed basis.
SKILL SET/ EXPERIENCE:
- Forklift and reach truck experience within a warehouse environment required.
- Basic ability to read, write, calculate simple math
- Experience working with inventory control systems.
- Moderate computer skills using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience with data entry.
- Can read and write in the English language.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- See attached Physical Demand Job Analysis form.
- Good analytical and organizational skills needed to plan and implement machine functions.
- Ability to address complex problems and propose viable solutions.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND EQUIPMENT:
- Basic operation of calculator, forklift, pallet jack, pallet wrapper, and shrink-wrap machine.
- This position is inside a warehouse facility that requires constant standing on concrete floors, and is subject to coffee dust and smells, as well as consistent loud noises.
- Limited exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Personal protection equipment and other Good Manufacturing Practices are mandatory.
