POSITION: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
SALARY: Starting at $19/hr.

Responsibilities:
- Ships outgoing all job orders and large Sales Orders that cannot be shipped on UPS Ground.
- Creates and ensures that necessary documents and authorizations are included in packages.
- Uses various software packages provided by our shipping vendors (i.e. Fed Ex, UPS, etc.).
- Picks materials, performs systems transactions accurately, maintains accurate inventory, conducts cycle counts and assists in material delivery and tracking.
- Understands and can plan shipments, coordinate logistics and work with a team to prep materials for customer delivery.
- Packages materials according to federal and international regulations.
- Responsible for the receipts of all large parts and raw materials.
- Ensures all paperwork properly filled out, labels, or tags all materials with proper identification. Puts all materials in proper location or staging area.
- Verifies quantities of parts received.
- Verifies parts are undamaged.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two years’ minimum related experience in Shipping and Receiving work required.
- Prior experience working with Logistics providers preferred.
- Possess or able to possess a current Certification as a Forklift Driver to meet OSHA requirements and must maintain certification.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
Work Environment:
- May occasionally work in temperatures above 100.
- May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces.
- Will climb ladders and work off elevated surfaces on an occasional basis during each shift.
- Noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
- Fast paced environment.
Additional Attributes:
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards preferred.
- Experience with overhead cranes a plus.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Can do attitude with strong communication skills.
