IMMEDIATE OPENING!!! We are looking for a shipping clerk with warehouse/team lead experience for an auto parts company located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. This is a full time, temp to hire position starting pay at $16/hr. M - F from 8am to finish (5:30pm latest)

Responsibilities of warehouse associate:

• Pull and fill stock orders for outgoing deliveries.
• Computer literate a must, SAP or ERP or other relevant warehouse software (AS400 knowledge a plus)
• Separate, label and verify the count of incoming freight deliveries.
• Stand up forklift, RF scanner
• Assist at pick up counter and assist sales staff
• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling).
• Use the computer system to locate products and stock incoming deliveries
• Load and unload, stock, label if needed, inventory correctly
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Some overtime work may be scheduled and required.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor. (order inventory, boxes, tapes, labels anything needed for packing and shipping)

Requirements of warehouse associate:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 2 years prior work experience in a warehouse, shipping & receiving a must.
• Experience using a materials requirement planning system (MRP) such as AS400.
• Strong Computer skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (push/pull 75lbs. rare occasion)
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check screening
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in order to accurately complete job tasks.
• Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements.
