Puck Enterprises of Worthing, SD is looking to hire a Shipping Coordinator. This position will coordinate with our sales and production teams to ensure shipment accuracy and prioritization. The position also develops and maintains an efficient and cost-effective shipping program.

Essential Functions

- Coordinates all outbound and inbound shipments for Worthing, SD.
- Works with Sales to ensure timely delivery of goods within the expected timeline.
- Identify best and most cost-effective method of transportation for shipments.
- Negotiate shipping rates with our regular shipping companies.
- Prepares freight quotes as needed for shipments as needed.
- Provides drivers with shipping instructions and routing information.
- Maintains tracking on all shipped goods.
- Responds to customers or shippers’ questions or concerns related to shipments.
- Completes all documentation needed for domestic and international shipments.
- Line up back hauls when appropriate for PUCK delivery trucks.
- Maintain compliant CDL program for all appropriate State and Federal regulations for drivers, trucks, and business.
- Responsible for ensuring trips have all applicable travels permits for PUCK delivered shipments.
Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
1. 1-3 years of experience working in Logistics or warehouse setting.
2. Excellent communication, organizational skills and an attention to detail.
