Shipping/Receiving Lead
Job Description
Responsible for working with various stations within the facility to provide them with materials, equipment, and components necessary for the completion of manufacturing duties. Also, manage all technologies, equipment, and activities related to shipping and receiving, maintaining site inventory, and organizing, staging, and distributing such items as needed across the site in the production process. This position reports to the CAPS NW Manufacturing Supervisor.
Job Duties
- Abide by all safety rules and procedures
- Organize and maintain inventory and packaging activity
- Examine contents and compare with records, manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of incoming our outgoing shipments
- Deliver or route materials across site using work devices, such as a cart, hand truck, or forklift
- Pack and prepare materials for shipping
- Correspond with vendors and customers to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage or defects
- Off-load inbound equipment and materials from trailers
- Keep warehouse clean and orderly, removing garbage and keeping bins straight
- Identify and report discrepancies
- Receive material into the ERP system
- Inspect and maintain viability of stock storage areas
- Pull product accurately with close attention to detail

Requirements
- Minimum of two years in the industry
- Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
