We are looking for an exceptional and hands-on Logistics professional who thrives in a manufacturing environment. Under the direction of Logistics Manager and Plant Manager, this person is responsible for facilitating daily work activities at the Quakertown, PA location. This position will coordinate and manage individual work efforts regarding process controls, standard work, workflow, work shifts, and employee direction & management.

Other Job Duties:

Employee Supervison

• All direct management of Shipping Dock Personnel and CDM Team
• Hourly Employee Performance Reviews
• Hourly Employee Work Schedules / Shifts / Breaks
• Hourly Employee Required Staffing Levels
• Hourly Employee Vacation Planning
• Hourly Employee Daily Standard Workflow
• Hourly Employee Training & Development

Manage Sequencing and Sorting

• Utilization of Work Instructions, Visual Aids and Standard Operating Procedures for the purpose of training and supervising the Sorting and Sequencing all out bound product.

Manage Cross Dock Process

• Sorting sequencing and loading of transfer trucks from other Intigral locations.

Coordinate Packaging

• Utilization of Work Instructions, Visual Aids and Standard Operating Procedures for the purpose of training and supervising the packaging of all out bound product to prevent damage.

Manage Loading

• Utilization of Work Instructions, Visual Aids and Standard Operating Procedures for the purpose of training and supervising the loading of all out bound product. Including the off-loading of returned containers.

Delivery Planning

• Coordinating delivery schedules with JBH Manger, Logistics Manager, CDM Supervisor and Customer Service as needed for all outbound product and incoming transfers from other plants.

Metrics and Reporting

• Use Fenivison reports and other tools to manage and report company metrics for on time delivery.

Manage physical Shipping/CDM/Cross Dock Area

• Paperwork accuracyAssure paperwork is audited and accurate before loading.

Coordinate Efforts with other CDM Team members.

Qualification and Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field, or related experience.
• 5+ years of progressive shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to engage, inspire, and influence people.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as other software
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

• 10 hour shift
