Shop Supervisor to manage internal personnel and operations of the shop floor in a manner that provides Elite customer service and employee satifaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers, assessing their service needs.
  • Ensure safe operations while maintaining the highest standard of quality.
  • Providing quotations for work as needed.
  • Responsible for scheduling of workload in the shop.
  • Responsible for proper part inventory levels to meet repair demands.
  • Ensure mechanics are qualified to perform the work being assigned.
  • Ensure all DOT and ASME regulations are followed.
  • Continued and up to date product knowledge and employee training with all staff.
  • Review of all tools required to maintain a safe and quality shop space.
  • Maintain appropiate staffing to meet facility demands.
  • Advise and assist in the hiring process for departmental staff.
  • Perform employee evaluations according to company policies.
  • Understand, improve and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Foster a positive, "can do" and motivated culture in the work place.
  • Responsible for departments production goals.
  • Responsible for departments quality control.

  • Knowledge of MIG, TIG aluminum, stainless and carbon steel welding

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
