Skilled Carpenter

Precision Design Build is a residential design and remodel company. We work closely with our customers from conception to completion. Most of our projects are within Dane County. We do most of the work in-house throughout all our remodels. Some parts are easier than others, but we take pride in all the work we do from bathrooms to additions and whole house renovations. Typical Daily Tasks:
-Demo
-Framing
-Installing Windows
-Drywall and Finishing
-Painting (Walls and Ceilings)
-Flooring (e.g., LVP, LVT, and Hardwood)
-Tilework (e.g., Floors, Showers, Backsplashes, and Wainscotting)
-Installing Cabinetry
-Installing Pre-Hung Doors
-Installing Trim Molding
-Painting, Staining, and Finishing (Trim and Cabinetry)
-Siding (e.g., Vinyl, Aluminum, Cedar, and LP Products)
-Minor Asphalt Shingle Repairs

Required Skills:
-Have Skills, or a Good Understanding of the Tasks Above

Required Tools:
-We are flexible on what tools you have.
-Minimally you would need a tool belt and hand tools.
-Ideally you would have your own basic carpentry tools including a miter saw and table saw.
-We would supply most larger equipment and tools when needed.

Payment:
-Hourly wage and benefits are negotiable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Madison, WI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Carpentry: 5 years (Required)
• General Construction: 10 years (Preferred)
• Trim carpentry: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
