Acara Solutions is looking for a SMT Operator for our client located in Pinellas Park, FL 33782
1st shift
$25 hr
- The SMT Operator I is responsible for set-up, operation and maintenance of equipment in support of Printed Circuit Board Assembly processes and procedures. Reports to the Operations Manager
- Set-up, operate and maintain screen printers, glue machine, reflow ovens, SMT placement machines, stencil cleaners, conveyors, and other equipment used in the assembly of Printed Circuit Boards.
- Interface with complex machine hardware and software.
- Identify and report defective components.
- Inspect own work to ensure accuracy and integrity of work performed.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with SMT
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in assembly.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques in manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to read blueprints or technical instructions.
- Ability to conduct quality control tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot to determine causes of operating errors and to decide on solution.
- Understanding of ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint or similar.
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and schedules.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
- Overtime needed in meet schedule.
- Travel to Customers. 0-5%.
