We are seeking a self-motivated, demonstrated leader to serve as Software Area Leader for Missiles and Space Software IV&V efforts. You will provide overall programmatic support, coordinate task requirements with the customer and form necessary teams to support the execution of those tasks. Key qualities that are required are the ability to establish and maintain relationships, possess effective communications skills and the ability to maintain and manage a budget. In this position you will specify the roles and monitor the job performance of team members, ensuring all deliverables specified in the contract conform to the requirements of the Contract so that programs will meet their objectives on time and on budget.
Daily tasks may include:
- Ensuring the successful execution of the PEO-MS portion of the Software Mission Assurance contract
- Facilitates communication and interaction with Program Managers and customer representatives by delivering updates and project status briefings on a recurring basis
- Performs job analysis, recruitment and hiring of personnel and onboarding of subcontractors
- Mentoring team members to help them grow in their current roles and challenging them with developing new capabilities to further their careers, providing purpose, direction and motivation to assigned employees
- Statement of Work creation and modification
- Directing the work of personnel and organizations assigned to projects
- Tracking project milestones to ensure all product deliveries conform to the contract
- Coordinating task funding, managing budget status and contract actions for all PEO-MS Software IV&V programs
- Interfacing with INTUITIVE’s Business Departments and the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to manage contract awards and modifications.
- Supports senior leaders and business development staff in corporate opportunity pursuits
Required:
- BS in related field
- 12 years total work experience
- Knowledge of acquisition policy and requirements
- Demonstrated past experience working independently to manage complex projects and personnel
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Desired:
- Knowledge and experience working Software or Systems Engineering tasks with various PEO-MS systems and programs.
- Experience working with Foreign Military Sales programs is also highly desired.
