Job Description:
We are seeking a software/database engineer to join our team supporting our customer's Secure the Enterprise initiative.
As a software/database engineer on this team you will direct the development of complex systems using queries, tables, and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies for the design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis; direct the overall database structure to fit into the overall architecture of the system; create new workflows to take over existing processes as needed as well as provide break/fix requests or updates; lead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software; direct fulfillment of requirements from a project inception to conclusion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (5 additional years of DBE experience w/o degree)
- 10 years’ experience as a database engineer
- Experience with Python, Django or Flask
- Database experience using MongoDB or MariaDB
- Experience in ReST endpoint development
- Experience with Micro service model
- Desired skills:
- Experience with Swagger
- Experience with AWS, C2S or other cloud experience
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs
- Experience with JSON and/or XML serialization
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Git version control
- Experience working in Agile environment
(The compensation of this position starts at the lower amount of the stated salary range while higher amounts may be achieved by the candidate accepting less PTO, waiving Healthcare, or both.)
