• This hybrid (3-5 days in-office) position is located in Austin, Texas. As this is an entry-level position, we welcome new graduates to apply!

What Will You Be Doing?
Design and develop high-quality Unity components and tools
Create reusable libraries and tools to drive efficiency of game development
Write and maintain code documentation
Provide support to studio game developers as Everi migrates to Unity
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Unity development and gaming industry

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:
Minimum 6 months of professional experience in Unity development or recent graduation from University with an emphasis in Game Development
Understanding of the Unity game engine, C# programming, and game development pipelines
Experience optimizing Unity games
Experience creating reusable libraries and frameworks
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:
C++ or JavaScript experience
Experience in casino game development or console development
Experience providing support to other Unity developers: debugging issues, optimizing the performance of Unity games, and providing design guidance
Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 - $80,000 annually.
