DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Develop innovative engineering solutions. Develop and automate large scale, high performance data processing systems to drive and improve product experience. Build scalable Spark data pipelines leveraging scheduler and executor framework. Design and Build impactful telemetry and usage tracking solutions for BI tools to improve tool governance and monitoring. Mature modern data pipeline streams for analytics use-cases. Design data models for optimal storage and retrieval and to meet critical product and business requirements. Evaluate Public and Private Cloud enablement options for Analytical and Reporting tools and contribute tool maturity. Build audit compliant cloud solutions and simplifying access mechanism to make self-service offering more robust, efficient and secure. Understand and influence logging to support our data flow, architecting logging best practices where needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, ETL Developer, Abinitio Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Hibernate; JSON; Maven; Spark; Dynatrace; Hive; Microservices; Jenkins; JQuery; Scala; SQL; ETL tools; Shell scripts; Perl; Autosys; CTRL-M; core Java and J2EE and Core Spring Framework; API dev; Event Architecture; and Domain Driven Design.
