Enru is seeking a highly motivated and skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the quality of our software applications. In this role, you would partner with our software engineering and functional teams to understand needs and ensure we have the right strategy in place to build high quality, well tested software solution driven though repeatable automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and create test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze test results, and report defects.
• Work closely with software developers to identify, isolate, and reproduce defects.
• Continuously improve test processes and methodologies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
• Provide recommendations on how to improve software quality and testing efficiency.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
• Develop unit tests that cover all aspects of the code, including edge cases and error scenarios.
• Translate business requirements into automated acceptance tests using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and developers to ensure that automated tests are aligned with business objectives and user stories.
• Execute automated acceptance tests that cover end-to-end scenarios.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
• Collaboratively establish and provide guidance to team and others on test driven development, negative testing, and other best practices.
• Apply security testing concepts such as secure development lifecycle and DAST/SAST testing in collaboration with the DevOPs lead.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, test design, and test case development.
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience participating in agile based software development teams
• Able to easily adopt and learn new technology.
• Ability to follow company policies and understand any rules or regulations governing the work being completed.
• Ability to understand the impact this role has on our department or company.
