Essential Functions
Serve as the primary testing representative on cross functional project teams delivering:
- Impact assessment to current testing processes and policies
- Negotiate on behalf of the testing team for tools, training, and support commitments.
- Develop and deliver training to global testing team.
- Develop/Maintain transaction and automation scripts.
- Develop/maintain clear testing project documentation.
Function as a global SME for assigned areas of expertise including:
- Collaborate with developers and QA leads to improve testability, automation, and tools.
- Identify and troubleshoot system issues working with functional/development as required.
- Provide ongoing guidance and knowledge to less tenured GCT employees.
- Coordinate and collaborate with a globally distributed team.
Responsible for own workflow assignments and must be able to take the initiative to resolve problems and meet deadlines.
Understanding of digital products preferred.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- 8 -10 years of experience with payments messaging
- Demonstrated Project Management skills with global teams required
- Project Management certification a plus.
- Proficiency with troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Troubleshooting of web-based software a plus
- Ability to interact and influence resources at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of Visa Systems including MVS, VIP, RSI, CORE/Config
- Viewed as a SME both within Testing and Certification Solutions and with Product, VIP Development and VIP QA
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Strong relationship, collaborative skills.
- Able to work as a member of matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team.
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies, applications, and tools.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 117,700.00 to 153,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
