The Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state-of-the-art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services.
Job Summary
Responsible for direct contribution to development of technical solutions, software test frameworks, test plans, test scenarios, test applications and test products. Will collaborate with development teams. Exemplifies the DRS Way by promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, results driven, collaborative relationships and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manually execute verification testing on a variety of software products (software applications, embedded software, and integrated systems)
- Design, analyze, integrate, test, and document software test cases for the purpose of systems or subsystems verification
- Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of verification and validation within time and cost constraints
- Provide traceability of requirements to test cases
- Provide technical guidance to include concept development and peer/design review participation
- Support verification testing, transition to production, and field issue resolution
- Provide process compliance and tailoring guidance
- Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization
- Support/develop environment of collaboration with developers and Product Owners
- Development of test cases using automated frameworks
Qualifications
- Novice technical expertise and application domain knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field
