This is a 6 Month Contract with possible permanent hire

This role requires local travel and field work, a vehicle is provided

Must-haves

• At least two years of professional experience as a hydrogeologist, geologist or closely aligned profession
• Demonstrated experience groundwater sampling
• Use of datalogging transducers/multiparameter probes/water sampling pumps for tools
• Drilling or boring experience

Plusses

• Bachelors degree
• Experience with public water treatment, wastewater treatment or industrial sampling
• ArcGIS experience

Day-to-Day

An employer in Denver is looking for a Sampling Technician. The primary duties of this position include a range of scientific, monitoring, and testing services for a variety of environmental projects at locations such as landfills, industrial facilities, power stations, abandoned and operating mines, and communities impacted by emerging contaminants (e.g. PFAS, heavy metals and volatile organic compounds). This position requires a versatile professional that is eager to learn and values the opportunity for professional development through a variety of project assignments. The position will require frequent travel/field-work (50%) along the Front Range. They will be working with 1-2 other samplers and overseeing their duties as well.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
