Job Description

As the South Mountain Creamery Pizza & Ice Cream General Manager you will directly contribute to the success of the SMC community by presenting the South Mountain Creamery experience to all individuals who choose to visit our store. The position is responsible for the overall operation for the store and oversight of our home delivery ghost kitchen.

• Training, coaching, and developing a strong unified team.
• Excellent leadership abilities with exceptional people skills.
• People Oriented - enjoys working with our guests and team members, using great communication skills.
• Growth Oriented - understands the importance of personal growth within themselves and team members and strives to share their skills with others.
• Understands leadership in providing excellent food quality, guest service, team building, and restaurant cleanliness through company systems.
• Leading in financial areas of the restaurant by attaining sales growth, cost management, and profitability.
• Become an expert on our operations and brand. Leading the way on operational improvements and efficiencies.
• Focusing on achieving results without compromising guest service, a great product, or the image of the restaurant.
• Connects with the community & establishes partnerships that grow our brand.
• Provide leadership and quality control over our home delivery food operations.
• Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
• Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
• Control operational costs and identify measures to control waste.

What you need to bring:

• 3+ years of relevant management experience.
• 1+ year of restaurant management experience.
• Desire to be a role model and lead our team.
• Ability to achieve financial goals.
• The ability to prioritize multiple situations.
• Effective communication and listening skills, the ability to build a great team.
