OVERVIEW:

The Sponsorship Associate role exists to grow the Gymshark brand through building, managing, and activating a network of authentic partners that connect with the lifting & conditioning cohorts of the Gymshark consumer. From Athletes to Influencers through to strategic product seeding. This role involves arranging to send products to athletes, ensuring athletes participate in Gymshark-relevant events, interacting with current and potential athletes, and managing relationships to ensure a flawless experience between the brand and athletes.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Responsible for:

• Managing relationships with key stakeholders (athletes & Influencers) across long & short-term deals, effectively and maintaining a strong working relationship with athletes & influencers within our North American market
• Always keeping their ear to the ground and identifying new & relevant talent that will be activated by the brand via product seeding, ad hoc campaigns, or long-term partnerships
• Managing a team of partners across different relationship stages which may include Tier 1,2 & 3 athletes, external influencers & friends of the brand. Such relationships may vary from one off collaboration to a long-term fixed contract
• Building and maintaining a strong rapport with our athletes and representation including management, marketing agencies and rising stars; utilize strong relationships to maximize opportunities and terms with talent on behalf of Gymshark
• Executing on strategic plans that will enable partners to deliver in full on agreed terms & deliverables within the contract
• Collaborating with other teams within the business to ensure partners are utilized across the business & marketing mix – Campaigns, Content Creation, Shoots, Events, Providing insights & feedback and use of Partner’s Name, Images & Likeliness
• Clearly communicating partner & industry opportunities to the business & relevant stakeholders, providing opportunities to support business growth.
• Utilizing the Athlete Marketing network, plan and execute on Annual and Quarterly Talent, Activation & Campaign strategies to support business objectives by partnering with GTM teams that support wider brand & product moments & initiatives as well as integrating Gymshark into Partner’s key moments.
• Building a strong relationship with Athletes through constant communication, monitoring day-to-day activities, and gathering feedback

Accountable for:

• Creating and executing strategic athlete plans that will grow the Gymshark brand using the Athlete, their audience, their USP & key moments
• Reporting on the performance of your roster of partners using KPI’s set by Head of Influence (Weekly, Monthly & Quarterly)
• Ensuring partners deliver in full on agreed terms & deliverables within the contract
• Staying on top of local trends & discovery of who the next up and coming names in the region, making sure they are engaging with the brand
• Ensuring partners are being utilized by the business to support in business growth

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
• 1+ years’ experience in influencer marketing and/or social media marketing
• Ability to manage competing priorities
• Ability to effectively manage workflow to ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Ability to work well under pressure, both as a part of a collaborative team and as an individual contributor
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to identify rising stars and emerging talent that fit the Gymshark brand culture and narrative

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in active apparel

This role has a salary range between $60,000-$73,000 annually depending on experience.
