The Sr. Director, Community Living Services directs and manages all Community Living Programs, including Residential Services, Independent Living, Supported Living, Respite Services, Recreation Services and any future services that may be aligned with community living. The role’s responsibilities encompass fiscal/budget management, billing and billing process management, effective communication with and management of external funding and referral entities, effective staff management and staff scheduling, service delivery, quality assurance and program outcomes. The Senior Director, Community Living Services will ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations and assist in process development or revision of program guidelines and procedures to adhere to best practices.
Salary: $100k to $110k DOE

A typical day will include:
- Managing and ensuring program compliance with all State and Federal funding and licensing regulations relative to the operation of The Arc’s Community Living Services, including Medi-Cal, Regional Center, Community Care Licensing, Department of Public Health Licensing and the Department of Health and Human Services.
- Providing leadership, management, oversight, supervision, and direction for all Community Living Services programs, affiliated support services and consultants.
- Directing and managing a multitude of simultaneous work streams and projects.
- Establishing clear lines of responsibility and accountability for operations and ensures effective collaboration and sense of urgency around performance improvement.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Services or a related field
- Minimum of seven (7) years of supervisory experience
- At least five (5) years of experience in administration and oversight of community living services for people with disabilities
- Previous work experience at Director Level in a Residential setting
- Prior experience developing and managing budgets for multiple programs

- Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration or related field
- Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) Certificate
- Strong applied experience with CA Titles 17 & 22
- Experience managing cross-functional projects of department scale with proven results in process improvement
