Status
Summary
As a part of Kia North America team, the Sr. Financial Planning & Analysis Administrator will support investment, month close, P&L analyses, 3rd party audit, and treasury management for Kia’s newly formed equity investment entity, Hold Co, for new business initiatives.
With solid data management skills, aggregate and maintain financial information coming from North America business entities (KUS, KCA, KaGA & KMX) to automate finance data management and thus to streamline finance analysis processes. Utilizing finance and accounting knowledge, support the monthly/yearly finance planning and close; annual business planning, monthly closing, and data visualization to generate the comprehensive finance reporting package. Maintain product-level P&L information from new vehicle development, including product enhancement and model year change, to actual historical profitability, delivering condensed GAP analyses for strategic decision-making.
Major Responsibilities
1st Priority - 50%
Support Kia’s equity investment entity management
- Month closing
- Audit preparation
- Treasury management
- Administrative support
2nd Priority - 30%
Manage Kia NA’s finance data and information and lead the systemization and process automation
- Aggregate & maintain finance data
- Lead data systemization
- Build dash-board and visualization
3rd Priority - 20%
Manage product profitability data and information and support product-level P&L analysis
- Manage product-level finance data & information
- Support product profitability report generation
Education/Certification
- 4-year degree in Accounting/Finance or a combination of education and equivalent experience
- MBA, MS in Finance or Accounting is preferred
- Math, science, technology, or engineering background is plus
Overall Experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting
Directly Related Experience
- 5-7 years working in accounting or finance
- 3-5 years in the automotive industry/ OEM environment preferred
- 2-4 years in finance ERP system (SAP, Oracle) experience

Pay Range
$74,400.00 - $96,600.00
Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
