Sr. HR Generalist – Job Description

The Senior HR Generalist will provide a wide range of HR support for the Technology/IT business unit and Technology/IT leaders. The Senior HR Generalist will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on performance management, compensation and org structure design, investigations, terminations, immigration, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between employees and leaders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead on company talent rhythm and performance management activities such as goal setting and the annual review process.
  • Partner with leaders in designated business unit(s) of large size and complexity on all performance management activities including Improvement Action Plans.
  • Facilitate immigration related inquires and processes within business unit as needed. Partner with leaders in designated business unit(s) of large size and complexity on all compensation and org/team structure related conversations.
  • Mentor other members of the Talent Management team including HR Generalists and Talent Management Specialists and Coordinators and assist with training new members of the team.
  • Partner with Clinical team to conduct investigations related to traveler and clinician concerns, complaints, and terminations and serve as a point of escalation for other members of the team.
  • Facilitate Stay Interviews and partner with Talent Management team to share feedback with leaders.
  • Partner with Talent Management Operations team on employee exits including exit surveys and interviews, company communication, and partnership with IT and Facilities on equipment, systems, and access.
  • Partner with leaders to review new roles to the team’s org structure, and any compensation related inquiries.
  • Assist with updating job descriptions for business unit.
  • Facilitate employee changes such as transfers and promotions.
  • Assist with other HR programs, policies, and processes as necessary.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communication, or Business or equivalent work experience required
  • 3+ years of work experience in human resources field required.
  • Experience with employee relations or coaching conversations required
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization required
  • Strong ability to maintain confidentiality required
  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Experience conducting investigations required
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and credibility throughout the business
  • Ability to maintain flexibility and balance a variety of interactive and administrative tasks

Preferences:

  • 2+ years’ experience partnering with Technology/IT Leaders on talent management, performance management, and immigration is preferred
  • Relevant professional background as a Sr. HR Generalist or HR Business Partner is preferred
