The Global Spectral Dominance (GSD) software team in El Segundo, California is actively seeking an Embedded Software Engineer.

Relocation assistance is available provided final candidate meets eligibility requirements

Required Skills:

• Minimum 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with the entire software development lifecycle
• Embedded software development in C/C++
• Data driven decision making for program execution.
• Ability to develop technical execution metrics for program execution efficiency.
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
• Experience with leading software teams of 15 or more engineers (including Agile and DevSecOps)
• Must have an Active or Current DoD Security Clearance on Day 1 of employment
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Desired Skills:

• Experience with one or more of the following:
  • Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
  • Kernel or device driver development

• Systems Integration
• Knowledge of System Security architecture
• Knowledge of cyber security
• Experience with software product line development practices

Required Education:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

The salary range for this role is 123,000 USD - 259,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
