We are looking for a Technical Program Manager with extensive experience in healthcare IT and cloud-based technologies, specifically Cerner systems and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, to lead our OHAI Cerner Migrations initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end migration process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. The Technical Program Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful migrations and deliverables.

Job Requirements:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a relevant functional area.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in planning, designing processes, and executing major features that impact the core product.
  • Proven track record in technology, deployment and operations, or the organization as a whole.
  • Strong experience with Cerner systems and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of OHAI (Oracle Healthcare Applications & Infrastructure) framework and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA and HITECH, and their implications for IT systems.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.

  • Own the planning, design processes, and execution of major features impacting the core product.
  • Represent the division up to the SVP level independently and at a higher level with appropriate coaching.
  • Identify organization-wide issues and work with key stakeholders to drive them to resolution.
  • Identify critical issues with organizational efficiency and address them independently.
  • Work fully independently, often on exceptionally complex and critical projects.
  • Seek input and collaboration when appropriate, such as on long-term business goals that may affect the business or the organization.
  • Manage end-to-end OHAI Cerner Migrations to OCI, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed of progress, risks, and issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, infrastructure engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful migrations.
  • Implement industry-standard project management methodologies and best practices to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Monitor and control project scope, schedule, and budget, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful project completion.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure that all contractual obligations are met.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, both internally and externally, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Continuously assess and improve the migration process, incorporating lessons learned and industry best practices.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
