The Sr QC Analyst performs analytical chemistry examination testing on raw materials, finished products, environmental monitoring (air, water, surface) and stability samples in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or USP methods, where applicable. Supporting QC leadership with planning and coordination of activities within the lab.
- Physical testing, chemical, or microbiological analysis of raw materials, finished products, stability and special samples.
- Documenting and submitting all raw data and results in LIMS
- Preparation of reagents for chemical analysis
- Data auditing for lot disposition
- Method verification, validation and technology transfer for new products
- HPLC, UPLC, GC, ICP-MS analysis of raw materials, finished product, and stability samples
- Support QC Systems Admin activities (Empower, LIMS, Trackwise)
- Preparation and review validation/verification protocols
- Analyst training
- Leads laboratory OOS and OOT investigations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or other related science with relevant laboratory coursework is required
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with computer software such as MS Word, Excel, or PowerPoint
- Proficiency with analytical chemistry testing
- Specialization with HPLC, UPLC and GC systems
- Minimum 7 year's experience
