DePuy Synthes, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Staff Software Project Manager in support of Orthopedic Robotics Software Development! This position will be located in Raynham, MA; Boston, MA; or Warsaw, IN . Remote work or other Johnson & Johnson sites may be considered on a case by case basis if approved by the Company.

In this role you will:
- Develop and manage cross-functional timeline including: software development, quality documentation, software test, regulatory, supply chain, service and repair integration and support.
- Provide personal expertise in project leadership and serves as a Subject Matter Expert in Project Management.
- Lead project core teams for new product developments, acting as scrum master, and follow the new product development process with a focus on quality.
- Identify risk and contingency plans and works with team members to develop project plans with incorporated risk analysis.
- Ensure cross-functional resources are assigned and aligned to accomplish tasks and results that are part of the project plan while holding team members accountable.
- Communicate project status. Communication includes: project meeting minutes, post-market introduction reports, monthly updates and any status or project information needed.
- Define key project constraints such as scope, schedule, budget, resources and risks and clearly communicate roles, expectations and accountabilities to the project team on a regular basis.
- Build and maintain the project budget, collaborating closely with functional managers or internal partners as needed to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Become the lead contact for all internal cross-functional partners (test, quality, manufacturing, finance, hardware team, etc.) regarding project activities; establish and maintain relationships with all project members (global & domestic).
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree focused in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications or related fields is required.
- An advanced degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant proven experience is required.
- A minimum of 6 years of project management or technical leadership in product development is required.
- Demonstrated success of leading and working within cross-functional teams, from concept through market introduction is required
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity and apply project management skills, which result in meeting project/program goals and objectives is required.
- Ability to develop leadership capabilities and proven track record to effectively assimilate and communicate complex information from multiple sources is required.
- Ability to recognize and lead the resolution of project issues and roadblocks is required.
- Proficiency using the MS Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) is required.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills is required.
- The ability to work independently, provide multiple solutions to problems and effectively integrate systems is required.
- A Project Management Professional Certification (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or other formal training in technical project management is a plus.
- Proficiency in written and/or spoken French is beneficial.
- This position may require up to 25% travel (primarily domestic, possible international).
The anticipated pay range for this position is 102K-163.3K
