Job Summary
Cleaning/Sanitizing: Cleans and sanitizes all bathrooms including showers, tile, sinks, toilets, and fixtures. Dust and clean vents, water fountains, furniture, table tops, light fixtures, mirrors, windows, elevators, walls. Also responsible for break room microwave ovens,
refrigerators, countertops, and cabinets. Clean lobbies, televisions, offices, rooms and furniture.

Trash/Janitorial Area: Empties waste baskets and other trash related material. Transport trash from trash room to dumpsters. Removes trash from all lobbies, bathrooms, and offices. Maintain janitor closets.
Floor Care: Sweeps, scrubs, damp mops, and dusts all floors. Vacuum hallways, stairwells, elevators and other areas assigned. Vacuums, extracts, shampoo, and spot clean carpets when required. Cleans, dust mop and buff hardwood floors. Strip/wax floors and stairwells.
Other Assigned Duties: Seasonal grounds work as needed including
but not limited to snow removal. Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Assistant Director for Facilities and
Operations.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours. Ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods of time. Experience with using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions.
