SLA Technician

At Doncasters, we have an exciting opportunity for a SLA Technician to join our team in Engineering.

This is a Split Shift opportunity to work with motivated employees and our Management Team to become a part of a successful Industrial Casting Company with a good work life balance.

The Role

SLA Finished Inspector must work closely with the SLA Engineer, Engineer Tech and Quality to ensure there are no non-conformance patterns. Assist in the prevention and elimination of non-conformance through the development and deployment of instructions and standards, based on best working practices.

Load and unload SLA patterns from the Centrifuge and UV curing cabinet.
Clean and general preventative maintenance of the Centrifuge, UV curing cabinet, and finishing work station.
Vacuum test SLA patterns.
Perform detail finishing duties on delicate SLA patterns.
Perform caliper checks, dimensional inspection and report box type dimensions.
Assemble plastic patterns in strict accordance with Engineering and Customer specifications.
Package the patterns for transfer.

High School Diploma or equivalent
1-3 years manufacturing (preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent.
Associates degree, preferred.
Ability to read, understand, and implement blueprints and work instructions provided by Engineering and customers.
Must have the ability to work independently.
Ability to work overtime hours
