Manage the activities of the Shipping, Receiving, Stockroom and Logistics areas. Direct the activity of all Shipping, Receiving, and Stockroom and Logistics personnel.
Essential Functions:
Direct the activities of the Receiving and Returns area to ensure timely and accurate receipt of incoming material.
Direct the activities of the Main Stockroom to ensure inventory accuracy and timely delivery of material to manufacturing to meet production schedule.
Direct the activities of the Finished Goods area to ensure inventory accuracy and timely delivery of material to Shipping to meet Customer needs.
Direct the activities of the Shipping area to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to customers.
Directs the Logistics area to ensure proper international paperwork is completed and freight is moved by the correct carrier.
Negotiate with freight carriers for best possible cost and reliable delivery.
Work with all areas of the company to meet customer delivery expectations.
Work with Supervisors on performance appraisals, promotions and disciplinary actions.
Other assignments as required by V.P. of Operations
Comply with all GMP requirements.
Skill Requirements:
Computer skills
Detail and organization skills
Leadership and communication skills
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Required/ Preferred Education and Experience:
High School graduate of equivalent
5-10+ years Material/Shipping/Inventory control experience
