We are seeking a professional and customer service-oriented Store Manager to join our fun and exceptional team at The Tanning Studio and Urban Chic Boutique. As the Store Manager, you will supervise the operational and organizational standards of the store while also providing exceptional customer service and salon cleanliness. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, a great communicator, and demonstrate valuable leadership qualities.
The Tanning Studio provides services combining the most sophisticated tanning technology with the finest skin care products for tanning enthusiasts. We are committed to educating our team of tanning professionals and passing that education along to clients, ensuring outstanding results in a clean, friendly, spa-style atmosphere.
As a division of The Tanning Studio and housed within the same location, Urban Chic Boutique provides the unique boutique-style shopping experience for clients who want that look of the big city without leaving Central Wisconsin. We provide trendy, stylish clothing and accessories, including small through extended sizes.
The Tanning Studio and Urban Chic Boutique are headquartered in Wausau, WI with locations in Rib Mountain, Weston, and Plover.
Primary Store Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of salon and store in Plover including cleanliness, organization, customer relations, sales and promotional material, reporting, and communication with Chief of Operations
- Motivate team to meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
- Schedule staff
- Complete administrative reporting
- Maintain appropriate inventory
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Hire, train, and oversee new staff
- Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Driver’s license or reliable transportation
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a retail environment, ideally in a managerial role
- Strong leadership and customer management abilities
- Customer service-oriented with in-depth knowledge of basic business management processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and aptitude to be a self-starter
