LondonEnergy are currently looking to recruit a Stores Person for our head office in Edmonton, North London.
As the Stores Person you will provide an efficient stores operation providing day to day support.
The Stores Person is also required to assist in the general maintenance of the warehouse in addition to liaising with suppliers directly and by telephone/fax/email etc. to ensure consistency of supply and quality

As the Stores Person you are also responsible for:

• To conduct purchasing activities if required.
• To ensure the warehouse is in as safe and clean condition as is possible all the time.
• Goods issuing when required for all company staff as well as outside contractors.
• To receive goods from suppliers, checking the items match to the delivery note supplied and reporting and discrepancies to the appropriate person.
• Receipting the purchase order once it has been checked using the hand-held device as well as on the company operating system Microsoft D365
• To carry out all reasonable requests from your line managers.
• To assist in a warehouse stock-take when required
• Unloading/loading of vehicles manually or with mechanical assistance as appropriate e.g., Forklift, Crane.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Previous experience within a warehouse environment using both goods receipting and goods issuing methods is preferred but not essential.
• Previous experience in an Engineering Stores position would be beneficial - OEM, Utilities
• Driving license for forklift truck preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of plant spares is preferred but not essential.
• Willing to accept any training given.
• Prepared to work weekends as part of the warehouse Rota. And cover shifts when required by your manager.
• Experience of stock control and rotation
