Strategic Planner/Marketer

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Identify funding sources in the form of grants, and other economic opportunities which would enable Integrity Behavioral Management to enhance its mission
  • Research other areas of growth and development of Integrity Behavioral Management’s programs to help meet its goals and objectives
  • Assist with public relations program which communicates the services we offer which advances working relationships with our stake holders and the community.
  • Develop publicity opportunities and special events in support of Mental Health and Substance Use Recovery.
  • Develop materials for marketing and public education of Mental Health and Substance Use Recovery.
  • Identify and plan for referral sources with hospitals, physician's offices, home health agencies, and other health care provides.
  • Establish an ongoing community relations program and establish ongoing relationships with media in order to keep the public aware of our Mental Health and Substance Use Recovery services
  • Assist with the development of business and marketing strategies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum three (18) months experience in public relations, sales and marketing.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and adaptability.
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, relationship builders, and responsible.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Create and maintain a master working list of all New Orleans area market referral sources
  • Make consistent and frequent visits to all listed referral sources and/or their staff to create and/or maintain positive relationships.
  • Assess satisfaction with past and/or current referrals including referral process, communication with Integrity Behavioral Management's staff and overall experience.
  • Educate referral sources during each visit (hold calls, scheduled appointments, lunch-in-services, ) regarding services offered by Integrity Behavioral Management
  • Acknowledge receipt of and provide updates on new referrals to referral sources.
  • Address/follow/resolve any complaints from referral sources.
  • Create and maintain the following:
  • Account Development Patient Relations Staff Relations Public Relations Advertising
  • Assist Administration with the process of streamlining all printed literature as needed. Assist Administration with website redesign and maintenance as needed. Assist with maintaining the Integrity Behavioral Management's Facebook page with at least one posts per week. Assist with development and implementation of other forms of advertising (print, TV, radio, additional social media forums, etc.). Assist with scheduling appearances on radio and other local media outlets to promote Notre Dame Hospice.
  • Meet LDH requirement for employment
  • Maintains a neat, well-groomed appearance at all times. Keeps personal appearance appropriate for patient care.
  • Ability and willingness to participate appropriately in a disaster or evacuation situation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Marketing: 2 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
