To underpin its academic work, the School of Education has a Professional Service team providing a core administrative service across all our teaching and research activities. The Student Experience Team is responsible for the effective delivery of all administrative tasks associated with learning and teaching, and is committed to supporting an excellent experience for all our students. As a Student Experience Officer within the team, you will be responsible for a number of areas within that process. The ability to work autonomously and as an effective team member are essential to this role.

You will support all aspects of the annual assessment cycle, working with the Student Experience Officer to confirm outcomes, prepare for and attend Exam Boards, and track student progress throughout their study. Advise students and their tutors on overall progression.

You will be responsible for all student extenuating circumstances and deadline extension requests, ensuring these are administered and recorded in a consistent manner, providing expert advice to students in line with regulations. You will take the lead on student engagement processes, working with other colleagues in the Student Experience team. You will work cohesively across the Student Experience Team providing support to colleagues in periods of peak workloads and ensuring cover in absence, to provide an outstanding service to both staff and students.
