Student Progression Assistant (3 positions available)

About the role
Based in the University’s Career Development Service (CDS), you will join our Student Progression Team working with our three academic Colleges to provide relevant, timely and targeted career and employability development support to students.As a Student Progression Assistant, you will support one of the Colleges and work closely with underrepresented student groups to encourage, direct, and support students to access relevant careers and employability development support. A variety of activities are used to signpost this support for students, from drop-in sessions and workshops, call campaigns, lecture shout-outs and various online initiatives.
About you
Ideally, you will have some experience of working within a customer or student facing environment, particularly with experience of planning and organising work activities. You should have experience working both as part of a team, and under your own initiative.You must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and be committed to helping students secure rewarding and meaningful careers.
