Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
This individual must be a senior student from an accredited radiologic technology program and present documentation of that status. This individual must operate all routine radiographic equipment safely and proficiently. Must demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions. This individual must demonstrate proficiency in operating the PACS computer system.
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Produce high-quality radiographs with a minimum of repeats
- Handle multiple room assignments and all different types of exams daily
- Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions
- Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and other hospital personnel
- Oversee duties assigned to student radiographers
- Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
- Must be a senior student from an accredited radiologic technology program
- BLS Certificarion requeries
- Good interpersonal, communication, team-work, and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions
- Remain flexible, organized, professional and able to analyze, make sound decisions under stressful situations
