POSITION OVERVIEW

LOCATION
This position is based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand and monitor compliance with legal and corporate requirements in association with Kiewit’s subcontract agreements.
- Follow established processes and procedures to communicate exceptions; collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Research quality or compliance issues and recommend changes for improvements.
- Manage and address cases related to Subcontracts utilizing the Service Now system.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers; understand Kiewit’s core business and promote a sense of urgency toward business-critical issues.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement; collaborate with internal and external partners to increase efficiencies .
- Reliable and consistent attendance.
- Support and participate in collaboration activities to promote and implement continuous process improvement.
- Perform other job-related tasks as needed or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Working knowledge of computers and experience in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience in a professional work environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly convey messages and ideas, gain understanding; generate interest and hold attention; listens and is open to the ideas of others
- Highly motivated and self-directed; initiative and a sense of urgency to get things done
- Attention to detail with ability to recognize discrepancies; ability to spot and anticipate problems and seek solutions
- Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work; ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Ability to understand and follow process and controls; ability to identify and understand the interrelationship among processes, risks and controls
- Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish assigned work

- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy with minimal supervision in a high volume environment

- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to lift, sit, stoop, bend, reach, climb stairs, etc.
- Ability to read from a computer or laptop monitor for several hours including fonts of various sizes from a variety of sources
- Some accounting knowledge preferred
- SAP background preferred
- Accounts Payable experience preferred
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
