CAM Educational Services LLC is looking for a Program Director to lead CAM Summer Camp 2023. Summer Camp Director is an outstanding leader who assumes overall leadership of summer camp location, including staff management for a team 10-30+ employees, day-to-day operations, and creating a joy-filled summer camp culture.

CAM Edu strive for not only academic excellence, but also to help our students develop emotional intelligence that they will carry outside the classroom. We hope that we can instill manners and discipline into our students all while having fun and learning the keys to success, and these are through in-person and virtual summer camps and after-school programs for students in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Essential Responsibilities
Pre-camp: Approximately 5 hours per week of paid professional development and management training
During camp: 45-60 hours per week to plan and oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of a camp site.
Staff management and training: Provide regular feedback, foster team building, and support a staff of 10-30 employees.
Camper & family relations: Plan and lead campers in all-camp activities, communicate with camper families, and serve as the main point of contact for your campsite.

What are we looking for?
Bachelor's Degree
5 years Early Childhood Education (ECE) experience with 2 years leadership experience in Education field
Genuine love for and interest in working with children and/or education
Demonstrated leadership experience (management experience a plus) and ability to work collaboratively
Openness to feedback and a desire to grow professionally
Ability to work part-time in winter and spring (approx. 5hrs), and full-time in summer
Ability to maintain an excellent work ethic, a high level of energy, and exceptional enthusiasm each day
Flexibility to meet changing needs and demands while balancing multiple tasks efficiently
CPR/First Aid Certified OR willing to become certified by the start of camp

Benefits & Compensation

• Pre-camp (starting early 2023): Approximately 5hr per week paid at $20+/hour
• During camp: $1200 to $1600 per week of camp (6-10 weeks, depending on location)
• Performance and enrollment bonuses: vary depending on camp size
• Application bonus $500+5%of all revenue from up sell service (field trip, ex care, lunch, camp upgrade etc up to $3000 up sell bonus)
• Leadership training & professional development. You’ll receive unique and exceptional training including weekend management training retreats, and weekly individual coaching throughout the camp season.
• Upward Mobility. As CAM Edu grows, we’re often looking for Regional Directors, curriculum creators, and other full-time staff.

Work Location
We are only able to employ candidates who are based in California.
Pre-camp: You’ll be working at CAM Center in Millbrae
During camp: You’ll be working at CAM Center or at Camp site in Millbrae

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
