Job description
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of district policies and procedures, and understand operating manuals with regard to grounds equipment, sprinkler systems, and application of sprays, fertilizers, and seeds.
- Knowledge of grounds maintenance machinery.
- Essential duties include maintenance of school building lawns and fields, maintain plant life surrounding schools, maintain grounds equipment, occasionally work inside schools doing custodial work
- Excellent driving record

Current transportation members will earn their Bus Driver regular hourly rate while working as a Summer Groundsperson
HOURS PER DAY:
8 hours/day, 5 days/week
START & ENDING TIME:
6:00 am - 2:30 pm
WORKING DAYS PER YEAR:
Approximately 45 days
