LOCATION: 600 19th Street NW, Washington, DC 20006
WORK HOURS/DAYS: 8am-4:45pm/Monday-Friday
REPORT TO: Program Support Manager (PSM)

The Supervisors are responsible for overall contract performance within their respective areas of responsibility, ensuring the quality of staffing, contract deliverables and shall serve as the liaison with DOS staff having the full authority to act on behalf of the Contractor. Supervisors serve as deciding officials with the authority to approve or disapprove a full range of personnel actions such as selections, removals, suspensions, reassignments and promotions.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree and six (6) years of progressive management experience; or ten (10) years of progressive management experience.
- Progressive supervisory experience shall be in a professional office environment managing a team of at least twenty (20) FTE, as well as having experience with seasonal or temporary staff augmentations with staffing supporting a myriad of organizations centrally located as well as other geographically disbursed locations.
- Expert knowledge with supporting experience in all personnel management matters.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of Office Products (i.e., Word, Power Point, Excel, SharePoint and Outlook).
- Required to have attended or attend a Supervisory level Leadership Course within 6 months of start date (at no cost to the Government).
- Required to have attended or attend a Train the Trainer course within twelve (12) months of start date (at no cost to the Government).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to understand the mission and staffing requirements of the assigned offices.
- Ability to interface with numerous office directors and forecast workload requirements.
- Ability to prioritize staffing allocations when needed, as well as documenting seasonal or temporary staffing needs and filling those positions without disruption to daily operations.
- Ability to prepare management, business, technical, and personnel reports, reviews and documents for internal and external use.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Thorough and conscientious attention to detail in all aspects of work performance.
- Ability to interface and perform needs assessments with progressive levels of clients, customers, and leadership in a professional manner.
- Ability to use sound judgement to identify issues and risks including, the ability to determine root causes, accuracy and relevancy of complaints, etc. to generate and evaluate alternatives and to make recommendations.
DUTIES/TASKS:
- Ensures that all vacancies are filled in a timely manner.
- Meet and greet potential candidates for vacant positions within the department.
- Responsible for all daily reporting and providing timely deliverables and performance related data to allow for adequate monitoring, oversight, and performance measurement.
- Conduct continuous service delivery improvement activities towards more efficient capabilities and performance.
- Resolve problems with minimal disruption to the activities being performed under the contract.
- Respond rapidly to additional operational support requests and provide the appropriate levels of qualified staff and support ongoing studies and evaluations.
- Assign work based upon shifting program priorities.
- Participate in conference calls and digital video conferences with DOS and other U.S. Government agencies.
- May be requested to provide formal and informal briefings to visitors or at off-site conferences.
- Evaluate workload execution against DOS standard operating procedures (SOPs) to identify areas of improvement. Where necessary, ensure performance gaps are identified, actions plans are developed, and resources are properly trained.
- Ensure proper and timely documentation and reporting of resource time and attendance, including monitoring daily attendance records, ensuring compliance with attendance policies, and working with DOS management to coordinate leave schedules.

Pay: $81,548.00 - $89,703.00 per year
