Job Summary

The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of drivers and ensuring efficient delivery of Coca-Cola products to our customer.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the check-out process of fleet, product, and drivers. Conduct daily driver meetings and hold the team accountable to delivery standards including DOT compliance, uniforms and equipment needs. May include Full Service Driver issuing of keys, money bags, change funds, and route reviews.
  • Communicate with other internal departments and with the Drivers throughout the workday to manage opportunities that may impact the successful delivery of our products. Effectively troubleshoot and implement solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Manages and reviews KBIs, operating expenses and labor budgets while meeting service needs. Reviews timekeeping records to ensure accurate payroll. Complies to all audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with dispatch and warehouse departments to ensure routes are planned and loaded correctly on the proper equipment. Maintains accurate internal SAP data.
  • Utilizes technology to monitor driver performance and location. Ensures accurate DOT compliance reporting to include hours of service, violations, and driver certifications.
  • Complete driver observations to recommend improvements in performance and safety.
  • Ensure vehicles are well maintained and that related repairs and safety issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • May have responsibilities in a dry warehouse facility. Oversee limited warehouse operations such as handling inbound freight, daily inventory, and supervising warehouse employees.
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday: Flexible Start Time

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of work experience required.
  • Two years supervision or leadership experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in consumer products, distribution, retail, or warehouse required.
  • Intermediate computer application and technology skills; knowledge of how to operate a smart phone and/or laptop.
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical thought process and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Department of Transportation regulations.
  • CDL certification preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines including no major violations within the last three years.
