Position Overview:
The Supervisor, Marketing Production is responsible for managing and developing individual members of the Product Photography team. This position assists in the planning, developing and implementation of new and revised photo production programs, policies and procedures in order to be responsive to the company's goals and practices. This position is also responsible for assuring thorough audits, reports and connection with the team and the business that company's photo production programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage team & personal workload; defining, communicating & executing (as needed) deliverables & their timelines to achieve business objectives & department goals
- Provide mentorship to employees through effective training, coaching and team building
- Perform or understand the production workflow of product photography as well as portrait and event photography.
- Engage regularly & appropriately with internal partners & suppliers as well as employees to maintain strong relationships and an understanding of internal & external factors and strategies impacting the business
- Leading, planning and organizing team staff meetings. Providing business and team updates. Ensure that action items are completed in a timely manner
- Understand and develop the talent of individuals on your team; partner with appropriate areas to organize development activities as needed
- Advocate change by understanding the need and impact to the business. Communicate clearly with team members
- Monitor and evaluate performance dashboards and reports; determine root cause of issues & propose recommendations for resolution. May lead improvement efforts.
- Monitor the progress of projects and intervene where necessary
- Initiate process changes to improve efficiency and quality of tasks completed by Photo Editors or Photographers.
- Create reports on workload performance at both team and individual levels
- Coordinate and manage workflows with PDC and other departments to ensure production requirements are met.
Other Typical Tasks:
- May travel - domestically as needed or requested
- May participate on cross-functional committees, task forces

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Minimum/Essential Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma, equivalent or relevant work experience
- Experience with Product, Portrait and Event Photography
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop
- Demonstrates ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Demonstrates ability to analyze, understand and action off of statistical data for the department and company
- Demonstrates ability to create and present power point presentations as needed
- Demonstrates ability to provide constructive criticism in a positive manner; demonstrating conflict management skills as needed
- Demonstrates ability to hold self and others accountable to delivering business results.
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience with Smartsheets, Asset Management and or Product Information Management systems.
- Two-Year Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar area of study or equivalent, relevant work experience.
- 2+ years Digi-Key &/or industry experience in photography and media production or other relevant work experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
