Job description
The Bolivar-Richburg Central School District is seeking a Supervisor of Transportation, which is a civil service position. The successful candidate must be on the civil service list or must take and pass the civil service exam in order to be appointed as probationary to this position. This supervisory position includes responsibility for the efficient and economical operation and maintenance of the transportation system of a school district. This position is under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools. The Supervisor of Transportation oversees the work of the bus drivers, automotive mechanics, and does bus driver training, so 19A and related certification would be a plus for candidates. This person should also have good communications skills and a strong understanding of computer use.
