We are growing and disrupting the industry through innovation and channel expansion, and we are looking for a committed Supply Chain Lead to help us. Diamond has a talented Management team with a history of proven success in leadership roles.The Supply Chain Lead is responsible for the coordination and management of all activities related to the supply chain, including but not limited to purchasing, warehousing, transportation, and customer service. The Supply Chain Lead will report to the Sr. Director Lifecycle Manager and work closely with other departments within the company to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services. You must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You must have the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. As the Supply Chain Lead, you must also have a strong working knowledge of supply chain management software and systems. • Understand the company’s supply chain process and objectives, and develop strategies to improve efficiencies • Place, maintain and track purchase orders for all locations for finished goods, raw materials, and components. • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions for streamlining the supply chain • Provide regular inventory updates and status reports to management.
- Provides timely communications to all internal team members on the status of delivery problems. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions • Manage inventory levels to ensure that materials are available as needed while minimizing excess and obsolescence • Ensures accurate item master and BOMs. • Fill rate reporting. • Monitor supplier performance to ensure that they meet quality standards and delivery timelines • Coordinate with internal departments to forecast future needs and develop plans to accommodate growth • Track costs and assist in monitoring cost changes for finished goods and components.
- Prepare reports on supply chain metrics for upper management • Assist in the development of supplier scorecards and KPI’s • Work cross-functionally with the accounting and finance team to reconcile invoice discrepancies • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements • Assist with the development and implementation of new ERP/MRP systems also Collaboration with IT team to initiate system improvements. • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices • Perform other duties as assigned
