About the Team
Global Fulfillment (GF) is responsible for all physical product movements from the shipping dock of factories to our store or guests, including distribution, logistics, trade compliance and engineering. The team completes this objective while scaling for growth and achieving targeted performance, including service, costs and employee safety.
The Global Fulfillment Program Management Office (PMO) oversees all strategic initiative projects and programs, and key non-strategic initiatives. The team is responsible for planning, support, standardization, and oversight of the entire Global Fulfillment Portfolio, with the ultimate directive to complete initiatives on time and on budget. The PMO is the central support hub for the Infrastructure, International, Logistics, Engineering, and Technology project teams withing the Global Fulfillment domain.
Work with Global Fulfillment and Supply Chain Strategy Leadership to build and manage the Global Fulfillment Portfolio backlog. This includes but is not limited to Inbound Logistics, Outbound Logistics, Trade Compliance, Distribution, Fulfillment Engineering, Network Planning, and more.
Day to day:
- Capture the high-level business requests as future demand for Strategic and Non-Strategic initiatives.
- Vet the Business demand, by building, requirements documentation, business cases, and project charters.
- Transition & Disseminate the artifacts built during the initiation phase of the project to the project teams to kick off the project definition/design phase.
- Manage communication and oversight of demand planning processes including strategic planning and road mapping exercises, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), dependency management.
- Form up demand into Portfolios, Programs, and Projects
- Ensure team members have the tools, resources, and artifacts they need to perform their jobs effectively and remove barriers to allow team to be as efficient as possible
- Work with the Senior Supply Chain leadership to transform the initiative planning process from a cyclical exercise into an ongoing one.
- Work within the Global Fulfillment PMO to ensure Financial, Resource, and Scope requirements are well understood and are setup with proper traceability.
- Risk and Issue Management through current processes. Proposing recommendations to solve to leadership
- B.A./B.S. in Business, Engineering, or technical area required
- MBA or other Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in consulting, project management, program management, or a similar field
- Established history of managing multiple projects simultaneously with progression into program management.
- End to end program life cycle experience on large cross functional initiatives (been there done that)
- Experience managing cross-functional programs with dotted line management responsibility.
- Experience in Project Management and Consumer Supply Chain Operations preferred
- Experience with managing large project, program, or portfolio budgets
- Experience Apparel/Footwear industry preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
- Proficient in Microsoft Project
