Support Workers / Care Assistants

£10.15 - £13.54 per hour

A driving licence and access to a car required but not essential for this role

We are looking to support a client South Manchester – Didsbury

We have part time or full time roles available working in south Manchester. We are looking for support workers who would be available to work the following times

Weekends - 8am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm

Week days - 2pm - 10pm

Available to work evenings during the week and every other weekend

This highly rewarding role involve supporting an individual in her own home by providing personal care, medication, PEG, Meal preparation, Cough assist, light domestic, practical and emotional support to help the individual maintain their independence and to lighten the load for their unpaid carers, such as family.

£10.15 per hour, £10.45 for early mornings, evenings and weekends, £13.54 for Bank Holidays

Mileage allowance 45p per mile

28 days holidays (pro rata)

About You:

No experience required as full training will be given to anyone new to care

Willingness to attend our full induction programme for new to care starters

Able to treat people with dignity, empathy and compassion

Excellent communication skills

A driving licence and access to a car required but not essential for this role

This highly rewarding support worker role can involve providing personal care, practical and emotional support to help individuals of any age to maintain their independence in their own homes and to lighten the load for their unpaid carers, such as family, neighbours and friends.

Duties could include providing one-to-one support for children and adults in their home and out in their local community to attend recreational activities.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and stringent vetting of employment history and references will be undertaken
